Desk Job Neck & Shoulder Tension – The 3 Minute Reset

Desk Job Neck & Shoulder Tension: The 3-Minute Reset

Neck and shoulder tightness is one of the most common issues we see in Hilliard—especially for people at desks all day. Forward-head posture, rounded shoulders, and long sitting can overload the upper back and neck muscles, leading to stiffness, headaches, and tension.

Try this 3-minute reset once or twice daily:

  1. Chin tucks (10 reps)

  2. Shoulder blade squeezes (10 reps)

  3. Doorway chest stretch (30 seconds each side)

  4. Slow neck turns (5 each direction)

Chiropractic care helps restore motion where your spine is restricted, while posture habits help it stay that way. Want help figuring out what’s driving your tension? Book an appointment with 614 Chiropractic in Hilliard.
